The station is a reasonable drive in the other direction, and a hotel of this size handles arrivals at all hours.

We collect from the main porch at the time sent the evening before, take you to the allocated gate, and the guide handles entry with the ID on the permit. The same jeep or canter returns you after the drive. The hotel also arranges safaris through its own desk; tell us if that is already in hand so a slot is not booked twice. Permits are allocated by the forest department; neither the hotel nor we can issue them, which is why we fix the safari before the room.
