Regenta Resort Vanya Mahal is a deluxe resort on Ranthambore Road run under the Regenta hotel brand, with rooms around gardens, a pool and a restaurant. It offers chain-hotel consistency in a resort setting. We are not connected to the resort; we help guests staying there with safari permits and pickup.
The resort is on Ranthambore Road, the corridor our vehicles use to reach the gates, so pickup is straightforward and the pre-dawn drive to a core-zone gate is short. Outer-zone gates are further around the park and need an earlier start, which we set once the forest department allocates your zone. Sawai Madhopur station is a reasonable drive in the other direction and transfers are uncomplicated.
Rooms are arranged around gardens with a pool and a main building for reception and dining. Being part of a hotel chain, the rooms and service follow a consistent standard: air conditioning, clean modern bathrooms, a proper reception and predictable housekeeping. The decor is contemporary with Rajasthani touches rather than heritage or canvas. Several room categories exist; confirm the current tariff and the category you are being offered at the time of booking.
Guests who prefer the predictability of a branded hotel, families who want a pool and a proper restaurant, and couples on a comfortable but not extravagant trip. It suits travellers combining Ranthambore with other Regenta or chain stays across Rajasthan. It will not suit guests looking for a wilderness setting or a boutique feel; for those, the Sherpur camps and heritage-style hotels are the alternatives. Small corporate groups also find it convenient.
We collect from the porch at the time sent the evening before, take you to the allocated gate, and the guide handles entry with the ID on the permit. The same vehicle returns you after the drive. The resort has a travel desk that arranges safaris too; tell us if that is already done so a slot is not booked twice. Permits are allocated by the forest department through the online system, not by the hotel or by us.
Meals are buffet-style in the restaurant with Indian and continental dishes, and outdoor seating in winter. Evenings are quiet; some nights have folk music or a bonfire on the lawn. There are a few restaurants along the road within a short drive. Ask about early breakfast or a packed box before the morning safari and lunch timing between slots; chain kitchens usually handle safari hours well if told in advance.
Fix your dates, let us apply for permits, and confirm the room once the forest department issues them. Chain rooms are rarely the constraint; peak-season permits are. Our tour packages combine permits, pickup and a deluxe-band stay if you prefer one booking. If you have already booked through the chain's site or a loyalty programme, we simply add the drives and send the pickup time the evening before each safari.
