Ranthambore tour from Vadodara
Vadodara is one of the best-placed Gujarat cities for Ranthambore. It is on the same trunk line as Sawai Madhopur, so you can board in the evening and wake up close to the park. We plan the safaris around your train and suggest three nights so the travel does not eat the trip.
Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Sawai Madhopur all lie on the Mumbai to Delhi trunk line, so the route is a single train with no change. Journey time is roughly half a day to overnight depending on the service. This is the option we recommend first, since it avoids a long road transfer and drops you in Sawai Madhopur ready for the evening safari.
Road distance is approximately 700 to 750 km, which is too long for one comfortable day. If you drive, plan a night at Udaipur or Chittorgarh. We can arrange a driver and car, or meet your own vehicle at the hotel.
