Tiger Den Resort is a long-established deluxe resort on Ranthambore Road with rooms set around gardens and a pool. It is a dependable middle choice for guests who want comfort without luxury pricing. We do not run the resort; we help guests staying there with safari permits and pickup.
The resort is on Ranthambore Road, the corridor between Sawai Madhopur town and the park, which is the easiest stretch for our vehicles to serve. For a core-zone slot the pre-dawn drive is short. For outer zones the gate is further around the park, and we set the pickup earlier once the forest department allocates your zone. The station is a reasonable drive in the other direction, so train arrivals and departures are simple to plan.
Rooms are in low blocks around lawns and a pool, with a main building for reception and dining. The style is that of a comfortable resort rather than a designed hotel: air-conditioned rooms, clean bathrooms and a garden to sit in during the afternoon gap. Several room categories exist, and the difference is mostly size and position. Confirm the current tariff and the category you are being offered at the time of booking.
Families on a two-night trip, small groups of friends, and first-time visitors who want a known quantity are the typical guests. It is a sensible pairing with a jeep safari for people who want the drives to be the highlight and the hotel to be simply comfortable. We collect from the porch at the time sent the evening before, take you to the allocated gate, and the guide handles entry with the ID on the permit. The same vehicle returns you after the drive. The resort also arranges safaris through its own desk; tell us if that is already done so a slot is not booked twice. The permit itself is allocated by the forest department and is not something the hotel or we can issue.
Meals are buffet or set-menu in the restaurant, with outdoor seating on the lawn in the cooler months. Evenings sometimes include a bonfire or folk music. There are a few simple restaurants along Ranthambore Road within a short drive if you want a change. Ask about early breakfast or a packed box before the morning safari and lunch timing between the two slots.
